What is it about videogames like super mario brothers…?
that are so addicting!?
Now I haven’t played those kind of games since elementary, and today on Yahoo there was an article on a videogame like super mario brothers, only about Obama and the election. It’s so addicting it’s disturbing! Why are games like that so addicting!?
Tell me about it. I sometimes can’t get enough of New Super Mario Bros. for DS. I guess platformers have alot of replay ability in them since maybe you want to beat your old high score or make a faster time. OR it can be the simple zany fun of jumping around like a maniac killing goombas and turtles all around. It also can be nostalgia to a time when you were younger and had happy moments with the game.. Also you can try and get treasures or unlockables. Or simply you want to replay it because you enjoyed it so much. For me it is sometimes taking a different approach to beating a level. Like in some levels i want to just run trough while other times i want to fireball the enemy. Or it could be because they are SO DAMN FUN. i love mario games especially mario platformers,
